• You can participate in a classroom-based professional development training program
• It is not for people who primarily want to work

If you left Australia due to COVID-19 and want to return to continue your studies, you may be eligible for a Bridging visa A.

You can apply for Bridging visa A after you return to Australia if you:

• hold a valid student visa
• your visa will expire before you will complete your course within the original visa validity due to the impacts of COVID-19
• have previously travelled to Australia on your current student visa
• have lodged a new student visa application offshore that is pending a decision
